All of our services are cancelled until March 28
Hello Mount Pisgah family!
Yesterday our governor recommended that all gatherings of more than 100 people be canceled or postponed, due to many of the potential dangers of spreading the Corona virus, especially as it relates to high risk groups such as the elderly, and those with underlying conditions. As you know, we have many in our fellowship that fall into that category. And unlike the common flu, this virus is highly contagious and can spread much more rapidly among a community group.
In light of this, we have decided to cancel all services between now and March 28. At that time, we will re-evaluate where things stand in the State, and if all systems are go, we will resume services on Sunday, March 29.
This is certainly not a reaction out of fear, but one of prudence and love for our people. As Solomon said, “The prudent see danger and hide, but the naïve keep going and pay the penalty” ( Proverbs 27:12).
We will be posting teaching messages through our website: www.mountpisgahchurch.org
between now and then.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9).
We will keep you updated!
